The scholarship application will re-open in October 2023.
To be considered, each application must include the following:

Outstanding student leaders are recognized for their discipleship in FCA throughout the school year.
Huddle Leaders of the Year are outstanding leaders amoung their peers within the school or team huddle, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage others in developing a relationship with Jesus. One outstanding student leader for each huddle may be recognized.
This student does not have to be a senior!

District 8 FCA in partnership with Monfort-Vorhees McDonalds
Dan Otten was a long-time educator and coach at Celina Schools who had a passion for coaching and a love for his students, athletes, and the Lord. Dan passed away from cancer in January 2021 and had exhibited tremendous courage during his 4-year battle.
We are seeking nominations of high school seniors from Mercer or Auglaize counties who also have exhibited courage overcoming hardships and adversity whether on the playing field, school environment or at home. Minimum GPA or level of athletic success in not a requirement, but the student should possess a good work ethic in athletics and in the classroom. The nominee should be respected by teachers, coaches, administrators, classmates and teammates. This student does not give up, has integrity, courage, an upbeat and positive attitude, humble heart, a professed belief in Jesus Christ and values others above themselves. Philippians 2:3
Two recipients will be chosen to each receive a $500 award and recognition plaque. Recipients may be from the same school or different schools within Auglaize or Mercer counties. The selection committee will announce the recipients by the last week of April 2023.
